nice fixture

I bought two of these to put in a bedroom. The style is simple and would go well in a rustic-themed room as well as contemporary. My house is a mixture of the two so these look great.



Two caveats though:



(1) The mounting screws were way too long and the holes/slots in the mounting plate were at the wrong angle for my electrical box. I bought a set of 1/2" screws with nuts and lock washers and put them in the slots in the mounting plate rather than the threaded holes so I could adjust the angle of the fixture.



(2) The dark finish on the back plate scratches very easily. The label that says to take care when installing the glass diffuser isn't kidding.

I was concerned that only 5 watts would not produce sufficient light for my deck. It is perfect and I intend to put a second one up on the garage rather than spend the extra dollars for the 25 watt. BEAUTIFUL SCONCE

Very well made lights work remote is simple and works. I read other reviewer and thought the light emitted would be less than I find it is. Wanted something pretty to look at during the day and for use as a "glorified nightlight" during nights and for those electrical black out times instead of fumbling for a flashlight. Looks Terrific on the Wall

I used two of these sconces to set off either side of a large piece of artwork on an end wall of the room. These were perfect and really look good. I used 75 watt halogen bulbs that are dimmable and provide non-glare lighting that is bright and fill the wall area with light.



The style is very contemporary and goes well with my wall art burgundy couch and chair. Very satisfied.More detail ...
